Privacy Policy

Effective 10 September 2026

Ashbound is a single-player puzzle game that runs entirely on your device. This policy explains, plainly, what happens to your information — which is very little.

Information we collect

None. Ashbound has no accounts, no sign-in, and no registration. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, or any personal information, and the game never asks for them.

Your saved progress

Your solved seals, recovered lore and vestiges, Ember Dust, and settings are stored only in the app's own storage on your device. This data never leaves your device, is not sent to us or anyone else, and is not linked to any identity.

No tracking or advertising

Ashbound contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking technologies, and no third-party SDKs that gather data. Nothing you do in the game is measured or transmitted.

No network use

The game is designed to be played offline. It does not create user accounts or send your play data over the internet.

Data retention and deletion

Because everything is stored locally, you are in full control. Resetting progress in the game's settings clears your saved data, and deleting the app removes it entirely from your device.

Children's privacy

Ashbound is a calm, family-friendly puzzle game suitable for general audiences. It collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued play after a change means you accept the current version.
